YES-FM LAUNCHES "PERA-PERA LANG YAN"
After celebrating its 10th anniversary last December, YES-FM continues to draw radio listeners with its upbeat programming and fun-filled promos.  Under its latest campaign called “Pera-Pera Lang Yan,”  taxi drivers may go to the MBC offices to register their names and be given a sticker or an On/Off Duty signboard to qualify for the spot raffle.  If a driver’s name is selected and he is able to claim his prize within an hour, he gets double the cash pot at stake.  So keep tuning in to the Best FM station in town -- 101.1 YES-FM. . .Automatic Yan!

SEASPORTS WINNERS E-mail

sea_sports_09_476.jpgBoatmen from Batangas and Cavite sped to first place in the stock and formula races of the Manila Bay Seasports Festival’s motorized banca competition, as pilots Randy Diaga on “Gabriel” and Marlon Morada steering “Malou” ruled the waters of Manila Bay.

 

The PDRT Fireblades, in turn, copped the dragon boat championships, dethroning last year’s Mixed Open champion Philippine National Police, and later edging out the members of the national women’s team for the Men’s Division plum.   The PNP Patriots, in turn, won the women’s team championship over Aqua Fortis.

Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim graced the opening ceremonies, with Mt Everest climber Noelle Wenceslao, also a member of the Philippine national dragon boat team, giving the oath of sportsmanship  The Manila Bay Seasports Festival was presented by Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard, Caltex, Gold Eagle Beer, Mountain Dew, Revicon, Splash Manufacturing Corporation, RFM, M. Lhuillier, Sunkist Iced Tea, Cord Marine Epoxy, and Briggs and Stratton.
